場所・位置を表す言葉
「～から」「～に」「～上」などの場所・位置を表す場合、
名詞や代名詞の前に from, at, to 等の語を置きます。
これらの語は名詞の前に置かれるので前置詞といいます。
前置詞+（代）名詞

on the desk （机の上に）
今回は there be動詞 ～「～ある（いる）」という表現を覚えているので、
場所を表す時によく使われる語句（前置詞）を一緒に覚えましょう。
文章中での場所を表す語句は、ふつう文章の最後に来ます。
つまり、 There be動詞 ～ 場所.
There is a ball in the box.
in 「～の中に／で」
in the box. (箱の中に） in the room（部屋の中で） in the car（車の中に）
There is my watch in the box. 箱の中に私の時計がある。
on 「～の上に／で」
物が接触している場合に使われます。
on the desk（机の上に） on the floor（床の上で） on the roof（屋根の上に）
There is a cat on the roof. 屋根の上に猫がいる。
under 「～の下に」
under the table（テーブルの下に）, under the tree（木の下に）
There was a big bug under the desk. 机の下に大きな虫がいた
by 「～のそばに」
by the wall （壁のそばに） by the window（窓のそばに） by the gate（門のそばに）
There was a boy by the door. ドアのそばに男の子がいました。
near「～の近くに」
near my house（私の家の近くに） near Tokyo（東京の近くに）
There are hotels near the station. 駅の近くにホテルがあります。
in front of 「～の前に」
in front of me（私の前に） in front of the store（店の前に）
There were many bikes in front of the park. 公園の前に沢山の自転車があります。
behind 「～の後ろに」
behind her （彼女の後ろに） behind the building （建物の後ろに）
There is a bookstore behind the station. 駅の後ろに本屋があります。
